My boss got a call today from a local news caster. He wanted to come by and interview us about the 11% drop in Microsoft’s quarterly income, which is leading to the lay-offs of more than 5,000 Microsoft employees. I guess that they wanted to interview us because we are Microsoft Certified Developers, and they were probably thinking that this would have some sort of impact on us. They canceled on us, last minute. It doesn’t directly effect us, but I can give you my opinion anyway. Read the rest…

I went to Best Buy on Friday to buy an external hard drive. I always find it amusing when I shop for computer stuff at best buy, because the sales people rarely know what their talking about. I’ve been reading articles on and off today having to do with the pending release of Winows 7 (though it’s still over a year away). They are coming up with ways to make the OS more touch-screen responsive, mimicking the gestures found on the iPhone and the iPod Touch.
